TBS's Lucid 12S ESC is a fantastic speed controller for high-performance airplanes. However it does not have an integrated BEC. It needs to be combined with either a stand-alone BEC, or with a flight controller that will provide it's own low-voltage supply. This is the recommended ESC for TBS's Mojito flying wing aircraft. TBS rates this ESC to supply bursts of up to 4,000 watts!

With built in TVS, voltage spikes are no longer a concern. By focusing on thermal dissipation from the ground up, the ESC achieves excellent power to weight density without the need of heavy heat sinks.
A close collaboration with AM32 allowed us to squeeze the last bit of performance without breaking the bank.
A heat sink can be added to the Lucid single ESC if you would like to add additional thermal capacity. This can be useful in mounting arrangements that do not see strong cooling airflow. The optional heat sink is the same unit as is offered for TBS's Unify Pro32 HV DP video transmitter. If you would like one of these heat sinks included with your ESC, simply select the option to do so at the top of this page.
