Notes from the Team-Legit Tech Bench
Our Aeolus 2.5" kits come with the Micro Cam Pod, suitible for mounting the Runcam Micro Swift camera.
This Aeolus frame, as well as the Ares, make great carbon upgrade frames for the guts of a Baby Hawk.
The Ares frames are longer in width than length, which boosts cornering ability. Alternatively, the Aeolus frames are longer in length than width, which boosts top speed.
This 2.5 inch stretched-x micro brushless is one of, if not, the first of its kind. Taking hints from our full-size Aeolus, the Ares Mini and a slight nod to the gaurded props of a tiny whoop, the Aeolus Mini is a true game changer in the Micro Brushless class. Coming in at 119mm this micro is capable of housing 110X-size motors. We recommend the 1102 7800kv for an indoor version, though those motors rock on 3S too and 1104 for an outdoor version. The bottomplate of the first version of the Aeolus mini is 2mm so if you rock an agressive props on the 1104 motors you're going to see it in your video, however on quad blades like the Gemfan 2035 you should be rocking one of the smoothese and fastest micro rides ever created! Plus you get the style and durability of the TPU pod encompassing your components.
Perfectly paired for the new DYS 11-series motors and 4-in-1 10A ESCs this build will be light weight and powerful for its size.
Disclaimer: DYS may put different size screws in their motor bags. Just because we reccommend motors for a frame does not mean just ram the screws in. ;) Check tolerances and make sure you will not be putting a screw into a winding. People have done this in the past and asked for new motors due to not checking for themselves.
